Portion of Lovers Lane to be closed for road work

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A portion of Lovers Lane will be temporarily closed Tuesday for work on a road improvement project.

Drivers should expect a section of the right eastbound lane to close from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., according to the City of Bowling Green.

The city says the closure is for the final course of asphalt surface placement for the Ken Bale Boulevard Corridor Improvement project.

Please be aware this may cause traffic delays and use caution in this area.

Starting in the first week of May, the city says it expects Ken Bale Boulevard will be open to traffic from Lovers Lane through the roundabout.
