Police investigate early morning shooting

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting after they received a call around 3:15.
Police say Santos Pocasangre (42), of Bowling Green, was shot through a car windshield and then he attempted to drive himself to the hospital.
The car came to a stop on Louisville Road near the U.S. 31-W Bypass intersection, shutting down the road for a few hours.
Police say the shooting likely occurred near Clay Street and 12th Street, and investigators searched the area for evidence.
The victim’s condition has not been publicly released.
The victim is was taken to a trauma center in Nashville.
Police have a possible suspect they would like to speak with and believe the shooting is an isolated incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
