Pedestrian killed in Hart County

HORSE CAVE, KY. – Wednesday Kentucky State Police responded to a pedestrian fatality in Hart County just before 10 p.m.

The incident occurred near the 58 mile marker of Interstate 65 in Horse Cave.

Upon arrival and through investigation troopers  found that 57-year-old Lisa Swarm of Munfordville was walking in the left lane of travel near the 58 mile marker of I-65 northbound, according to a release KSP. The left lane of travel was being occupied by 28-year-old Anthony Andres of Wauwatosam, Wis. who was operating a white Ford Escape.

Swarm was struck by the Ford Escape while in the travel portion of the roadway and was pronounced deceased on scene by the Hart County Coroner, according to the release.

The investigation is ongoing and being led by Trooper Robert Hartley.  An autopsy has been scheduled with the Medical Examiners Office.
