Owensboro man charged with child sexual exploitation offenses

OWENSBORO, Ky. – An Owensboro man is charged with child sexual exploitation after an internet investigation.

According to the Kentucky State Police, detectives with the Electronic Crime Branch arrested 26-year-old Jacob Lee Kirkman on child sexual abuse material possession Tuesday afternoon.

KSP says Kirkman’s arrest was following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

KSP executed a search warrant at a home and seized equipment used to commit the alleged crimes.

Kirkman is charged with ten counts of distribution of material portraying a minor in a sexual performance. He was lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
