One person is dead following a collision in Logan County

AUBURN, Ky. – One woman is dead following a collision that occurred this morning in Logan County.

According to a release, a 2001 RAM pickup truck driver told police his trailer began fishtailing because of the slick roadways on Highway 103.

This caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle and cross the center line.

He was then struck head on by a 2014 Subaru going the opposite direction.

The Subaru then veered off the road and down an embankment.

A 2010 Toyota Camry following the Subaru then hit the pickup on its passenger side.

The operator of the Subaru, Kellie Shockley, 44, and a passenger, Nova Shockley, 20, both of Russellville, were taken to Logan Memorial Hospital by EMS.

The driver, Kellie Shockley of Russellville, died at the hospital.

No one else was injured in the collision.
