New director of the Edmonson County tourism committee

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – Earlier this month, Edmonson County introduced a new director of Edmonson County Tourism Commission.

Vanessa Ulm is a mother of two little girls and a Warren County native.

Back in 2006, she moved to Edmonson County and has adopted it as her home.

Previously, Ulm worked as a merchandise manager for an international business before deciding to take this position serving and working locally with her own community.

Ulm is looking forward to getting to know those in the community around her and improving and sustaining the tourism of the county.

She says she hopes she can help bring in economic growth and spring in some tax revenue in her upcoming years.

Ulm was hired after the former director of the tourism commission was charged with dozens of counts of forgery and theft of over $10,000.
