Mural for world peace and love going up in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A mural with the words “world peace” and “love”covering it is in the works in the Shake Rag community of Bowling Green.

This mural, painted by traveling artist Renda Writer, is his 76th world peace mural as a part of his World Peace Mural tour.

After four years of painting, he has completed murals in eight different countries, and now one is going up in Bowling Green at the Fountain Square Players Scene Shop on E 3rd Street.

The mural is expected to be completed Saturday, weather permitting.
