Movie filming to cause temporary road closures in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – An ongoing movie production is expected to cause temporary road closures in Glasgow on Monday, Aug. 3 and Tuesday, Aug. 4, officials say.

According to the Glasgow Police Department, filming will take place in the areas of Water Street and North Green Street between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. The title and details of the film have not been released at this time.

Police say the public may notice vehicles, actors and temporary road blocks. Some scenes may also include loud noises and pyrotechnics, officials say.

The department says these activities are part of production and do not pose a threat to public safety.

The Glasgow Police Department says it is working closely with production crews to ensure the safety of the community while minimizing disruptions to traffic and local businesses.
