Morgantown man charged with robbery in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Morgantown man is behind bars and charged with robbery following an incident in Bowling Green.
Randall Ackerman, 31, is charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree wanton endangerment.
On Saturday, police said he approached two men with a large knife and demanded their backpacks at an apartment in the 2400 block of Thoroughbred Drive.
According to an arrest citation, Ackerman then entered the apartment and threatened another individual inside.
Police responded and arrested Ackerman. Officers located the knife after Ackerman told them he never brandished one, according to his citation.
Ackerman is being held on a $10,000 bond inside the Warren County Regional Jail.
