Metcalfe firefighters respond to brush fire
METCALFE COUNTY, Ky. – According to the North Metcalfe Volunteer Fire Department, firefighters responded to a reported brush fire on Highway 1048 Sunday at Noon.
Units located a 1/4 to 1/2 acre fire with no immediate exposure.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and performed measures to prevent rekindling.
No injuries were reported.
