Metcalfe County woman accused of endangering the welfare of a minor

EDMONTON, Ky.- A Metcalfe County woman was arrested Wednesday after sheriff’s deputies say she had multiple drugs in the presence of children.

According to a news release from the Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence on Tompkinsville Road near Edmonton, to assist the Kentucky Division of Protection and Permanency with a home visit in reference to a complaint of child endangerment.

During the investigation, deputies said they recovered several prescription-controlled substances belonging to Brandi Alluis, 39, that were easily accessible to small children inside the residence.

Allius was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance-drug unspecified, third-degree possession of a controlled substance-drug unspecified and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Allius was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
