Man indicted in shooting deaths of woman, unborn child in Barren County

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Barren County grand jury indicted a Glasgow man charged with the murder of a woman and her unborn child.
According to Glasgow News 1, 24-year-old Brandon Lee Bond was indicted by the grand jury last week on counts of domestic violence murder, fetal homicide and fleeing or evading police.
The Glasgow Police Department’s preliminary investigation determined Bond shot 22-year-old Ava Woodcock while she was sitting inside a vehicle after a domestic incident, before running to a nearby wooded area, where he was later found on April 6.
Woodcock was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital before being flown to the University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Woodcock died on April 7.
Bond remains lodged at the Barren County Detention Center on a $2 million cash bond.
