Man shot Thursday night in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Thursday night, Bowling Green police were called to the scene of a shooting after receiving multiple calls of shots fired in the area near Audley Avenue and Torridge Avenue in Bowling Green.

According to a Bowling Green police report, while enroute to the area, police received a subsequent call from The Medical Center at Bowling Green emergency room about a person seeking treatment for multiple gunshot wounds.

The injured man, Brennen Roddy, 21, of Bowling Green, told police he was walking towards a woman he saw in the area and heard an argument followed by gunshots and began to run until he felt a bullet hit his left leg, according to the report.

He told police he ran to a nearby friend’s house who took him to the hospital, according to the report.

The report said when asked about the incident, Roddy told police he didn’t know who shot him, why he was shot nor what his friends name was.

The report states that injuries were considered non-life threatening.
