Man and dog taking a Lap Around America to encourage tourism

MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – A man and his dog making a lap around America touring national parks, made a stop in South Central Kentucky.

Luis Vazquez and his German Shepherd, Luna, have been touring the country for the past two weeks.

Monday and Tuesday, the duo will be taking tours of Mammoth Cave National Park.

It’s a part of a trip to at least 26 different national parks across the country.

The reason? Vasquez and his sponsors are trying to remind people about the kinds of safe travelling and exploring opportunities there are across the nation during the pandemic.

After south central Kentucky, they will head out to Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio.
