Man accused of stealing cigars from Bowling Green gas station
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A man has been charged with second-degree robbery following an incident at a Bowling Green gas station.
According to Bowling Green police, the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. at the Shell station on Riverview Drive.
Police said Deontez Patterson, 21, pushed a store clerk and stole two cigars.
According to authorities, after leaving the store, Patterson fled in a vehicle. Security cameras captured the incident and the license plate number from the vehicle.
Officers said they later located and arrested Patterson on Webb Drive.
Patterson was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
