Man accused of sending nude photo to a minor while released on bond on a rape charge

One month following his release from jail on a surety bond stemming from a charge of rape of a minor, a Bowling Green man was accused of sending a photo of his genitalia to another minor in an attempt to entice that teen to engage in sexual activity.

A Warren County grand jury Wednesday indicted Ondrico D’Angelo Kirby, 21, 901 Jackson Street Apt. 12, on one count each of unlawful use of electronic means originating or received in the Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities and distribution of obscene matter to a minor first offense in March.

Kirby is accused of sending a photo of his genitalia to a 15-year-old girl, according to Bowling Green Police Department records. A police officer said he saw a message in the girl’s phone in which Kirby asked the girl to come to an address on Lynnhurst Drive.

In January, Kirby was indicted on a first-degree rape charge involving another minor. Judge John Grise allowed Kirby to be released on a $10,000 surety bond in that case which remains pending.

Grise set the bond on this new case at $2,500.
