Man accused of possessing child porn, woman in same house arrested on drug trafficking charge
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After receiving a cyber tip, Bowling Green police arrested a man Wednesday on possession of child pornography.
Daniel P. Sovis, 23, 2038 Rock Creek Drive #6, is charged with five counts of possess/view matter portraying sexual performance of a minor.
Police investigated the tip they received about a Dropbox account that contained about 315 photos or videos of minors engaged in sexual performances, according to Sovis’ arrest citation. They determined the account was connected to Sovis.
Police searched and seized electronic items found in his home, according to the citation. Police said Sovis told them the Dropbox account was his.
Sovis also told police about other accounts that contained sexually explicit images of children, according to his arrest citation.
While police searched that address, they said they found suspected packaged methamphetamine in a room that Candida Bishop, 41, said was her room, according to her arrest citation.
Police charged Bishop with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
