Man accused of biting Bowling Green police officer

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Glasgow man was charged with assault on a police officer, after being accused of biting a Bowling Green police officer.

Christopher Gonzales, 29, was also charged with resisting arrest.

According to an arrest citation, officers responded to an alleged assault at a residence in the 900 block of Morgantown Rd. on Wednesday.

Police said Gonzales resisted when officers attempted to put him in handcuffs.

Gonzales was then taken to the Medical Center at Bowling Green to be treated for injuries. While at the hospital, police say Gonzales bit an officer’s finger.

Gonzales was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
