Man accused in double homicide now lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A man indicted on two counts of murder is now lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.

On Dec. 11, 2018, the Bowling Green Police Department responded to 2108 Rock Creek Drive for an unknown trouble call.

When officers arrived they found Deloris Stacker, 62, and Karen Burks, 53, dead. A state medical examiner determined the manner of death for both women was homicide.

On Jan. 22, 2020,  a Warren County grand jury indicted Juan Paulo Flores-Jarada, 38, on two counts of murder.

Flores-Jarada is accused of killing both Stacker and Burks.

Wednesday night, Flores-Jarada was transferred from a prison in West Virginia where he was being held on unrelated charges.

Police have not released the cause of death for either woman.
