AMBER ALERT: Logan County authorities searching for mother accused of kidnapping her twin daughters

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky.- Authorities in Logan County are searching for a woman accused of kidnapping her twin daughters.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the woman, Neely Blanchard, 33, of Bowling Green, does not have guardianship of the girls, who are both 7 years old.
The law enforcement agency said Blanchard took the girls from her mother’s house around 1 p.m. on Friday, March 20, and has not been seen since. Blanchard’s mother has sole guardianship of the girls.
According to the sheriff’s office, Blanchard is a self-proclaimed sovereign citizen, who is reportedly in possession of a handgun.
Blanchard was last seen driving a 2014 black Ford Escape with Florida license plate: ECLAUSE
The twins are medium build with brown hair. One of them was last seen wearing a purple jacket, while the other was wearing a grey t-shirt and dark shorts.
Blanchard could still be in Kentucky, but also has connections to Florida, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
