Local law enforcement participates in No Shave November

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s November and you know what that means, you have an excuse to  throw that razor away and grow a beard for a good cause.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Office and the Scottsville Police Department are participating in No Shave November this year to raise money for a local charity.

That local charity, the Hope Center for Women.

Last year the two law enforcement agencies were able to donate $3,000 to the Special Olympics.

This year, Scottville Police Chief Darren Tabor hopes they can raise even more money.

At the end of the month, whichever law enforcement officer raises the most money and whoever has the best beard will win an award.
