KSP release new information in 1988 Owen County Murder

Corinth, Ky. – Kentucky State Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying a 1988 cold case murder victim in Owen County.

In 1988, a female victim was located in a rural area laying in close proximity to a roadway.  Due to decomposition, the victim has not yet been identified.

Based on new information, investigators believe the victim may have ties to the Columbus, Ohio and/or the Miami, Florida areas.

The Texas Rangers Evidential Art & Facial Identification, assisting Kentucky State Police, utilized advancements in new technology to develop a new composite that better depicts what the victim may have looked like at the time of her death.
