Inclusive playground at Roland Bland Park officially opens
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green’s inclusive playground is officially open to the public.
Wednesday, officials cut the ribbon for a playground at Roland Bland Park made specifically to allow people with disabilities to enjoy alongside kids without disabilities.
The park has crumb rubber flooring instead of mulch, so it is wheelchair accessible.
It is also conducive to wheelchairs with ramps instead of stairs in several areas.
Parents of kids with disabilities could not be more thrilled with the new play experience opening up in the city.
The playground is now officially open during the same times the park is, dawn to dusk.
