Back after 12 years, Sorenstam gets 2 more days on LPGA Tour

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Annika Sorenstam shot a 1-under 71 at the Gainbridge LPGA. Now the 50-year-old Swede gets two more days in her brief return after more than 12 years of retirement. Sorenstam is making a one-time appearance because it’s her home course of Lake Nona. Lydia Ko also is a Lake Nona member. She had shot a 69 and has a one-shot lead over Nelly Korda. It looked as though Sorenstam might miss the cut based on a bad ruling that led her to take a penalty drop. She made the cut on the number and was 12 shots behind.
