What’s that piece of advice Little League coaches always tell their kid — keep your eye on the ball, right? New Los Angeles Dodgers ace Trevor Bauer is providing a new twist on that approach. Eager to challenge himself in a spring training start, the NL Cy Young Award winner kept his right eye closed while pitching out of a first-inning jam Saturday against San Diego. Bauer says he likes making himself uncomfortable and trying to find a solution. Bauer wound up pitching three scoreless innings, striking out three while allowing two hits and a walk.
