North Carolina State is a No. 1 seed in the women’s NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. The Wolfpack won the ACC conference tournament and will play North Carolina A&T in the opener. South Carolina also earned a top seed on Monday night when the field was revealed. UConn is expected to be another one of the No. 1 seeds, but the Huskies will have to play their first two games without coach Geno Auriemma, who tested positive for the coronavirus.
