PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — The PGA Tour reaches an important milestone this week. It was at The Players Championship last year when golf decided it had to shut down. Now there is a feeling of satisfaction. The PGA Tour has made it through 39 weeks without having to shut down and now fans are starting to come back. Commissioner Jay Monahan talks about a light at the end of the tunnel. The tour had gone 3 weeks without a positive coronavirus test until Tuesday. Monahan also cautions that it’s not time to look in the rearview mirror until the pandemic is over.
