Empty The Shelters to promote pet adoption

Bowling Green, Ky. – The Bissell Pet Foundation is bringing back its national Empty the Shelters event, partnering with 269 shelters across the country to help pets find their homes at a reduced price.

From September 18-30, adoption fees will be reduced to $70 or less to combat overcrowded pet shelters.

The Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society is partnered with the Bissell Pet Foundation and will offer a special adoption offer during Empty the Shelters.

Empty the Shelters has helped more than 431,000 pets find their homes since 2016.
