Hopkinsville man charged with fleeing police

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WKDZ) – A Hopkinsville man is charged with fleeing police Monday night.
According to a report by WKDZ, the Kentucky State Police states it stopped a car driven by 36-year-old Rashad Pleasant Monday at a gas station on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
The report further states Pleasant ran from the scene but was quickly found hiding in a carport on Ginnie Lane.
Pleasant was arrested. He faces charges of careless driving, failure to or improper signal, failure to produce an insurance card, second-degree fleeing or evading police, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
Troopers were assisted by the Hopkinsville Police Department and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
