Hill Motley Lumber donates $7,500 total to local non-profits

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Today, several local non-profits received donations from a Bowling Green business.

Hill Motley Lumber is celebrating its 75th year of business in the city.

So, to honor the city the business calls home, the company owners decided to give five non-profits $1,500 each.

Bowling Green Area Young Life, The Center for Courageous Kids, Habitat for Humanity of Bowling Green, Hope House and New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding  were all presented with a check Tuesday afternoon outside of the business.

Catherine Vaughn, the owner of Hill Motley Lumber says the opportunity to give back to the community that they are a part of is a honor.

One of the non-profits, Hope House, will be using the money to help transport workers to and from their jobs at the transparks.
