Hart County Jail employee arrested

CAVE CITY, Ky.- A man who works at the Hart County Jail was arrested Thursday in Cave City.

Michael Logsdon, 52, is accused of driving impaired.

According to Cave City police, Logsdon was too intoxicated to perform field sobriety tests.

Police said when Logsdon was at Caverna Hospital for a blood test, he became combative and struck a Cave City police officer.

Logsdon was charged with third-degree assault on a police officer, DUI, resisting arrest and third-degree terroristic threatening.

According to an arrest citation, Logsdon is employed at the Hart County Jail.

Logsdon was lodged in the Barren County Detention center.
