Glasgow residence catches fire; woman charged with criminal mischief
GLASGOW, Ky.- A house was destroyed by fire Sunday night and now a Glasgow woman accused of sparking the blaze is under arrest.
The fire broke out at an uninhabitable residence in the 300 block of E. Front St.
According to an arrest citation, Amber Carver, 28, was inside the residence looking for clothes and smoking a cigarette.
When she left the home, she flicked the cigarette at the house and it caught fire, according to the citation.
Carver is charged with first-degree criminal mischief.
She’s being held on a $5,000 bond inside the Barren County Detention Center.
