Glasgow police K9 assists in marijuana arrests

GLASGOW, Ky.-  The Glasgow police K9 made a large marijuana bust during a traffic stop over the weekend.

According to the police department, officers pulled over a driver on Saturday for speeding.

K9 Joe was deployed and alerted officers to the passenger side of the vehicle.

According to police, officers searched the vehicle and located four, large vacuum sealed bags of marijuana, weighing over 4lbs. A large amount of cash was also discovered.

Mickey Poole of Bethpage, Tennessee and William Poole of Westmoreland, Tennessee were arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana.

They were both lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
