Glasgow man dies after being struck twice by vehicles

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man died Monday after falling from his mini bike and being struck by two vehicles.

At about 9:30 p.m. Monday, Kentucky State Police Post 3 in Bowling Green was requested by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a fatal collision.  The collision occurred on East Hiseville Main Street in Barren County.  Troopers responded to the scene.

Preliminary investigation indicates that Allen Johnson, 26, of Glasgow, was operating Coleman 200CC mini bike near the 3800 block of East Hiseville Main Street.  Johnson swerved to the left causing him to fall from his mini bike.

An unknown vehicle traveling behind the mini bike struck Johnson in the roadway but left the scene. A second vehicle, being operated by Terry Walls, 60, of Liberty, was unable to stop and also struck Johnson.  Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Barren County Coroner.

The investigation is ongoing.
