Glasgow man arrested on active warrant after home search

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Barren County man has been detained after Glasgow police say he was wanted on an active warrant.

The Glasgow Police Department says it responded Tuesday to Lakeview Boulevard to serve a parole violation warrant to Justin Roach.

Upon arriving, authorities say they located him at the residence. Officers then searched the home with consent, where they located marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, Suboxone and heroin, police say.

Roach, 28, of Glasgow was arrested and remains in the Barren County Detention Center.

He faces charges of trafficking in marijuana, first offense, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified), third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and tampering with physical evidence.

He also has been served with the probation violation warrant.
