Glasgow man accused of attacking healthcare workers at hospital

GLASGOW, Ky.- A Glasgow man accused of attacking healthcare workers at a local hospital was arrested on Monday.

Jonathan Bailey, 31, was charged with third-degree assault (EMS, Fire, Rescue Squad).

According to Glasgow police, Bailey bit one nurse, struck another nurse and attempted to strike a doctor at TJ Samson Community Hospital.

According to an arrest citation, Bailey was taken to the hospital after he used synthetic marijuana, which caused respiratory problems.

Bailey is being held in the Barren County Detention center on a $7,500 bond.
