Warren County Parks and Recreation and Bowling Green Parks and Recreation went all out to provide adaptive canoeing and kayaking for those with special needs in the community.

Thanks to their efforts and those of the University of Kentucky Human Development Institute, families had their fun in the sun in the river.

The warm weather wasn’t stopping anybody. This groups was ready to paddle and play.

Scott Lewis made the most of the day, teaching his son Asher to skip rocks.

Scott said, “This is awesome. This is an awesome event. Cameron puts on events like these all the time, and the kids just love it.”
