Four adults accused of child abuse, drug possession
Four people were arrested in Warren County following a report that a baby was being kept in a shed with no water or electric.
Thursday morning, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office was called in to assist social services at 5095 Barren River Road.
The arrest citations state the loft was closed off with tarps, didn’t have running water, was being heated by gas and electric heaters, and the baby was sleeping in a laundry hamper with a pillow.
During the visit, deputies said in the arrest citations, Roger Ramsey, 59, and Ronda Keabler, 50, arrived and stated they lived in the loft and the child’s parents, who were also on the scene, Virginia Keabler, 20, and Nicholas Nichols, 22, were just visiting.
Deputies said they found several meth pipes and suspected methamphetamine.
The baby was placed in protective custody and taken to The Medical Center in Bowling Green.
All four of the people arrested were lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
