Former Warren County jail employee indicted in official misconduct investigation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police says a former employee of the Warren County Regional Jail has been indicted following an investigation into alleged sexual offenses.
Authorities say Warren County jailer Stephen Harmon first requested an investigation by KSP on April 25 after a complaint of inappropriate sexual conduct involving the former employee.
According to KSP, the incident reportedly took place in September 2021. In addition, KSP says the former employee left the employment position with the jail after three months.
On Wednesday, May 24, authorities say an indictment warrant was issued for Aaron Bommarito, 28, of Franklin.
Bommarito was arrested May 26 and faces one count of third-degree sodomy and one count of first-degree official misconduct.
