Disturbance call leads to trafficking, possession arrest
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies responded Thursday at 9:48 pm to a suspicious person knocking on a door and threatening the occupant of a home in the Fountain Trace Subdivision. The subject was reported to have been armed with a gun. Once on scene, Deputies were advised that the subject had just left in a silver car. Said vehicle was observed on Cemetery Road and later stopped while traveling northbound on I-65. Upon approaching the vehicle, deputies noticed the heavy odor of marijuana coming from within the car. An investigation was conducted which resulted in the location of a pistol and a pound of marijuana inside the vehicle.
Anthony Johnson was arrested for trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct in the 2nd degree. He was lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.
