Distribution center adds jobs

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cape Electrical Supply cut the ribbon on their distribution center here in Bowling Green Tuesday.

County Attorney Amy Millikin and State Senator Mike Wilson along with several representatives from the Warren County Chamber of Commerce attended the ribbon cutting.

The business has been operating for over 60 years as a supply store, but now, the Bowling Green branch will begin distributing supplies as well around Kentucky.

The supply chain works mainly with fiber optic cables, transformers, controls and even furniture.

The new distribution site added four jobs to the area, but the company hopes the business will soon employ dozens more as the demand grows in the state.

The company is currently hiring truckers and has some positions available.
