Deputies investigating mail theft in multiple Warren County neighborhoods

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- An investigation is underway in Warren County after authorities say someone went through multiple mailboxes and opened letters and packages.

It happened around 5:30 a.m. Thursday in the Ivan Downs neighborhood, Summit neighborhood and Hunters Crossing neighborhood.

When deputies arrived, they noticed open mailboxes and discarded envelopes and packages up and down several streets.

Deputies were able to collect some of the mail, which has now been handed over to the post office.
