Deadly tornadoes strike Louisiana, Texas
(NBC News) At least five people are dead after a string of tornadoes cut across Texas and Louisiana overnight Wednesday.
Three tornadoes were reported in Louisiana, two in Texas.
Two were killed when a twister hit in Ruston, Louisiana.
In Erath County, Texas a mother and her two children died when their car was swept away heavy flooding triggered by the same storm system.
“I thought it was the end of the world, literally, what I thought it was, the end of the world,” said San Augustine, Texas resident Tyartuick Coutee.
