Deadly crash numbers down in Kentucky for 2018

Numbers suggest that in 2018, Kentucky is on track to see the lowest number of fatal crashes in recent years.

According to statistics by the Kentucky State Police, the state has seen 691 deadly crashes to date this year.

With only five days left in the year, that number is projected to be lower than those death counts from 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Here in Warren County in 2018, 12 deaths have been reported, and Barren County has seen 8 as well.

These statistics are always a good reminder to wear your seatbelts, not text and drive and to be extra cautious when driving in wet conditions.
