Bowling Green woman accused of using knife to injure woman at convenience store
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Bowling Green woman accused of injuring another woman with a knife is behind bars in Warren County.
Police responded to the T-Mart store around 1:30 a.m. Thursday on Adams Street.
According to an arrest citation, Tamara Simmons is accused of getting into an altercation with another woman. Police said Simmons pulled out a small knife in an attempt to stab the victim. The victim sustained injuries to her hand.
Simmons was arrested the next day and charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief, among other charges.
She is being held on an $11,050 bond inside the Warren County Regional Jail.
