Bowling Green woman accused of stabbing man at park
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A woman from Bowling Green is charged with first-degree assault after police say she stabbed a man.
Amanda Bates, 29, is now an inmate inside the Warren County Regional Jail after her arrest Friday morning.
According to an arrest citation, Bates is accused of stabbing a man with a knife at Riverwalk Park on June 18.
The victim had to be airlifted to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville after receiving a cut to the face and a puncture wound to his abdomen, according to police.
According to the citation, Bates told officer that the victim and another man were fighting before she pulled out the knife and injured the victim.
Bates is being held on a $5,000 bond.
