Bowling Green woman accused of stabbing boyfriend
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Bowling Green woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend.
According to Bowling Green police, the crime happened Sunday at an apartment in the 2700 block of Industrial Drive.
Police said a man was located inside the apartment suffering from a stab wound to his arm.
The man was taken to the Medical Center at Bowling Green for treatment.
Officers later spoke with the man’s girlfriend, Ashlynn Rucker, 23. According to an arrest citation, Rucker admitted to stabbing her boyfriend with a small knife. Officers located the knife inside the residence.
Rucker is charged with second-degree assault-domestic violence.
Rucker is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail, where she’s being held on a $7,500 bond.
