Bowling Green Police Department hiring for 911 dispatch

The Bowling Green Police Department is hiring.

Deputy Chief Penny Bowles of BGPD says that they provide their dispatchers with focused training. If you’re interested in the position, BGPD is hosting an open house on Tuesday, February 22 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bowling Green police headquarters.

“A person that makes a good dispatcher honestly has to have a servant’s heart. A heart for people and a heart for the community,” said Deputy Chief Bowles. “One that can remain calm in a crisis and one that can multi-task.”
