Bowling Green man facing new child sexual exploitation offenses

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing new child sexual exploitation charges after previously being arrested on similar offenses.

According to a uniform citation, an indictment warrant was served Thursday, Aug. 6 on 25-year-old Sean Campau of Bowling Green.

The indictment warrant formally charges Campau with 13 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor under 12, 16 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12, six counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor over 12 and under 18 and eight counts of possession of matter of a sex performance by a minor under 12 and under 18, according to the citation.

Additional details in this case have not been released.

In December 2025, Campau was also arrested on separate charges of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 and distribution of a matter portraying sexual performance by a minor under 12.

Campau’s charges from last year reportedly stemmed from a cyber type regarding an alleged photo of an adult male having sexual intercourse with a female toddler that had been uploaded to a Kik account linked to Campau.

Campau remains at the Warren County Regional Jail on a $25,025 cash bond. He is scheduled for arraignment on Aug. 10.

Campau was previously released from jail on December 19, 2025, jail records state.
