Bowling Green man charged with drug trafficking offenses

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing multiple drug charges following a traffic stop on Wednesday.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department stopped a vehicle on Morgantown Road for excessive window tinting.

Authorities say the driver was identified as 30-year-old Pedro Alfaro of Bowling Green.

Alfaro was asked to exit the vehicle, and during a search, police say they located methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana in his possession.

Alfaro was handcuffed and placed into the back of a cruiser.

In the vehicle, authorities say they found a cell phone and wallet with cash.

Alfaro is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 2 grams methamphetamine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), trafficking in marijuana (first offense), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and excessive windshield/window tinting.

He remains at the Warren County Regional Jail.
